Whether you may or may not know, I love comic books, and Batman is my real dad. Did you know that?! Jk. (Just for your info, the new trailer they found in the ARG scavenger hunt was shown during the movie trailers! YES!!)
I wanted to see Ironman last night because Robert Downey Jr. is an amazing actor, but I am not a huge fan of superheroes with unrealistic abilities or CGI help. His cocky character was so well executed I couldn’t wait to see the movie just for his speaking parts. I figured I would be yawning during the robotic scenes.
I saw it and was completely blown away. The graphics are so top notch you could never decipher any difference between reality and computer simulated imagery. The story line was seemless, and not once did I look at my watch. Most action movies seem to have a deadspot in the middle. Think the Xmen movies or the last Spiderman movie (uck!).
This was amazing in every way, funny, articulate, and emotionally charged. I loved the movie so much I couldn’t wait to watch it. Jeff Bridges is in this movie and he does an amazing job as well.
I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars!
