The holidays are fast approaching, and even I am still working on getting last minute gifts. I’ve practically been grazing the stores and online sites for three months buying a little here and a little there. A bit silly, but it’s more precise and planned if you can take your time, right? Well, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite items that are unique, exciting, and cool that anyone at any age can enjoy.
This cute lil gadget is SOLAR POWERED (even cooler) which you stick your window, and the sun, activating the mechanism causes the swarovski crystals to spin slowly, casting beautiful rainbows across the entire room! I have bought a couple before and I tell you, they work and are WORTH the buy. Totally cute and kids are mesmerized as I am by them.
2. SKY UMBRELLA:
Made by Tibor Kalman, this cute and bright umbrella is not only fashionable but will put a smile on your face in gloomy weather!
3. SMART CANDLES:
These are from MOMA store, but you can practically find this sweet invention everywhere now at affordable prices. And it’s GOT to be an awesome gift for kids. Think about it! No more fear of the kiddies burning down the house because they are fascinated with candles and want some for their room. I always wanted candles in my room but wasn’t allowed to play with matches….. These are flameless but have the same beautiful ambience, flickering, and some even come scented!! If you buy these for your kiddies, let me know how it goes!
4. CLOCKY - the pet clock:
as it says on MoMA store’s site: “Clocky is the alarm clock that can jump down from up to 3 feet and run away and hide if one does not get out of bed on time. After one snooze cycle, Clocky will roll and move around the room with randomly patterned alarm beeps. Clocky’s wheels can be disabled if the user wants a conventional alarm clock. Features an early low battery warning.”

The one food item I think would be a DELICIOUS gift! Made by Sam Godfrey, Perfect Endings cupcakes are made fresh from scratch right from the renowned Napa Valley Bakery, using fresh eggs, real butter, and other premium ingredients. The baker is known for his amazing high end cakes. Oprah even had this on her 2007 Oprah’s Favorite Things episode. I’m buying these for my loved ones this year. They have a hefty price, but it’s worthy! But, I’m sure it won’t fit that well into the stocking….
