I haven’t updated my blog with any fun information in such a long time. Been busy with commission work and preparing for the vegas show at ArtExpo Vegas in the fall. I have many new and very refreshing pieces that I will be listing directly at natashaWESCOAT.com
Here are some previews!
the NATASHA GOES POP! series as shown is finished and will be listed on my website. This series was sparked by an idea to show me doing things that I do in a fun way. The character is very reminiscent of my Maizy character that has evolved from my previous Whimsy and Want series characters.
And in the spirit of GHOST OF BONE’S PAST (no pun intended. hehe), I am continuing on the PUPPY POP series with these works, which I am finishing tonight.
As you can see, they are still in progress. 
This untited piece features my sweet monkey characters. It’s a commission for a baby’s room. Isn’t it kawaii(cute)!!??
I still have to work on solidifying the clouds in the background, and then I’m sending it off to the family. I wish I had time to do more of this work. It’s from my Fairymisfits.com characters. Unfortunately, my website needs some fixing and I can’t remember the login information! Go me, right? ugh… I’m going to call the host provider and try to get that fixed up so that I can update the website and do more things with the characters. It’s either that, or I’m going to have to start a new website. Stay tuned on that info..
I’m working on several new pieces that will be featured in the Mad Hatter Cupcakes store! You will see my characters from the ALICE IN WONDERLAND series there very soon. I had to revisit the pieces, and make some new ones. They are much cuter and colorful than the past works I have done. I will give you updates on how that goes, and let you in on where you can buy the original paintings from the series!
